Privacy Policy
Prelaunch draft · Updated October 11, 2026. Prepared for review. Child-privacy safeguards and production data-handling details must be completed before public launch.
This notice describes Little Hindi’s current learning app, operated by Agile Mindset, LLC. The separate Agile Mindset consulting website has its own privacy policy.
Accounts and learning information
The app stores your sign-in name, a password hash, learning progress, lesson position, review dates, conversation checkpoints, and membership or complimentary-access status. New self-service accounts use a parent email address, saved in lowercase, with email verification before saving progress or managing learner profiles. Existing usernames remain usable until the adult links and verifies an email address. Each learner has a nickname and separate progress. Do not use a child’s full name, birth date, school, email or contact details. Verification and password-recovery emails are sent through Microsoft 365 when configured. The app stores verification status and hashed, expiring, single-use link tokens; changing a password invalidates existing sign-in sessions. Email verification is not parental consent.
Administrators can manage accounts and access levels. Administrative changes may be recorded with the administrator, affected account, time, action, and reason. Administrator authentication also stores authenticator setup and verification information.
Support requests
Parents and adult account holders can provide their first and last name, phone number, subject and note through our support form. When sending is enabled, these details are emailed through Microsoft 365 to contact@agilemindset.com for support. The app does not store support message bodies in its database; messages may remain in the operator’s Microsoft 365 mailbox and sent folder under the operator’s retention procedures. Do not include children’s personal information, passwords or payment-card details. The form retains entries on screen after a failed send, but does not save them to browser storage.
Voice practice and learning recordings
Recording is optional. Character adventures require a parent account and separate, unchecked permissions for storing recordings and for sending them to Microsoft Azure Speech for pronunciation feedback. The parent confirms these choices for each learner when creating the learner profile or later in parent controls. Recording and local replay alone do not upload audio. Choosing Check my pronunciation sends the selected clip, up to 20 seconds, for assessment and learning storage.
Agile Mindset, LLC uses saved recordings and returned feedback only to support that learner’s learning, not advertising or model training. Up to 50 recent recordings are kept per learner, for no longer than 90 days in private application storage; older recordings may be removed sooner. Parents can delete recordings or withdraw storage permission, which deletes saved recordings. Provider permission can be withdrawn separately to stop future assessments. A request already sent to Microsoft cannot be recalled by this app. Provider processing is governed by the operator’s Microsoft service agreement and Microsoft’s privacy statement. Account controls do not independently establish legally verified parental consent; production launch requires review of the applicable child-privacy requirements and provider terms.
Recordings are not public. Access is limited to the owning account and active learner. Expired recordings cannot be played; the production operator must run the scheduled purge and manage backup retention consistently. Ordinary phrase-practice recordings remain local to the browser unless the explicit assessment flow is used. Assessment estimates may be inaccurate, particularly for children or varied speech; they are not proficiency, accent, disability or clinical diagnoses.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies support sign-in and protect account actions. Browser storage remembers display and playback preferences and guest progress. Clearing browser storage can erase guest progress and preferences. Signing out or deleting cookies does not delete progress saved to an account.
Security and operational information
The server receives network information such as an IP address and requested page. Security controls use hashed identifiers to limit repeated sign-in attempts; server logs may contain request metadata. We use this information to operate the app, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect accounts. Security measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee that a service is breach-proof.
Sharing and payments
The current app contains no advertising trackers or third-party analytics and does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Authorized administrators have access needed to support accounts. Hosting and backup providers may process information when those services are configured; the production provider list must be finalized before launch. Information may also need to be disclosed where legally required.
Online payments are not enabled, and this app does not collect payment-card details. Any future checkout will need its own provider and billing disclosures before use. External links open services with their own privacy practices.
Retention and your requests
Parents can export a learner’s learning data and reset learning data through parent controls, with account-password confirmation. Resetting learning data also removes saved recording records and recording permissions; it does not delete the parent account or billing records. Signing out does not delete an account.
Account closure is a separate request. Unresolved billing can prevent closure from proceeding. Otherwise, closure disables account access and removes recording records, with external storage cleanup queued where applicable. Account, learning and billing records remain pending operator review; closure is not a promise of complete erasure. Contact the operator below for access, correction or deletion requests and questions about retained data. Authority must be verified, and rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Production retention schedules for logs, backups and retained account records still require operator review.
Children and parents
Little Hindi is designed to help children learn with adult support. Parents should manage accounts and supervise practice. A username or invitation code is not proof of parental consent.
Before public use by children under 13, the service still needs a direct parental notice, a verifiable parental consent process where required, and operational parent access, deletion, security, and retention procedures. These draft pages do not provide that consent or establish compliance. Until those safeguards are in place, use adult test accounts without children’s personal information.
Changes to this notice
The operator should update this notice when collection, providers, or features change and give required notice and obtain any required consent before new uses of children’s information.
Ownership and website
Little Hindi and its planned domain, cultureoracle.com, are owned and operated by Agile Mindset, LLC. This notice also applies when this app is served at cultureoracle.com. The domain is the planned production address; this local preview does not confirm that hosting is live there.
